Our Story

Met on a large cruise ship crossing the Atlantic, and have been adventuring ever since.

In 2017 on the Freedom of the Seas, Fede was working as a bartender on his first contract, when Danni got called for a last-minute fill-in assignment as a youth staff. Neither were looking for love, but the ship had other plans for us.

The Story Begins

After falling in love in a short (but intense) couple of months, we registered as a couple, and continued working on cruise ships for a few years.

We traveled between contracts, and on our first big trip started an Instagram together.

During Covid, we were separated for 8 months. We built our business together, and were reunited in Mexico for a 2-month road trip.

In 2021 we finally left the world of cruise ships, and started traveling the world full time, exploring all over the globe and building a life together.

We started spending more time in Buenos Aires, and finally in 2022 we got our first apartment together.

Since then, we’ve balanced working while traveling, as well as spending as much time as we can also seeing all of our family and friends that we love so much.

THE PROPOSAL

She Said Yes

On a 2-month road trip across Southern Africa, Fede had been hiding a ring the entire time. With a big change in the itinerary, we ended up spending our final moments of the trip in a place where it’s believed humanity began.

We saw many women glammed up for a Miss Universe event, so we joined in. Danni put on one of her flying dresses that she designed herself. Fede set up the camera for photos, and just as the sun set across the vast pans, he got down on one knee.

Engagement

Being from two different continents and sharing a love for travel, we knew we had to do the wedding somewhere really special – in a place most people wouldn’t go on their own, one that would represent us in the most authentic way.

Cappadocia holds a special place in our hearts, and being in a hot air balloon was one of those emotional turning points in Danni’s life that made us choose it for our destination.
